My Story

Hello all, my name is Allen Xia, and I am a student at Meadowvale Secondary School (Ontario). I’ve always found joy in the art of learning, and I believe that a good education is a right to which all children deserve. While many of us are fortunate enough to learn every day, millions of children around the world continue to face systematic and economic barriers that prevent them from accessing a quality education.

I created Cycle for Classrooms to inspire awareness through one of my personal hobbies: biking. I wanted to combine this with a meaningful mission that could give children the same opportunities that we often take for granted.

Overview

Cycle for Classrooms combines all eight Ivy League universities in the USA into a continuous, 1,650 KM route. Each school represents a different educational value and lays the foundation for what a quality education truly looks like.

Following the theme of eight schools, Cycle for Classrooms has eight distinct segments. This transforms simple destinations into milestones that have meaning. Below, you can find the educational theme of each journey segment:

Cornell - Discovery
UPenn - Innovation
Princeton - Research
